HF Trailer: upgraded hubs and rims etc

Wonder if someone can help.
I know some of you use the HF folding trailers.

We were in a flood recently and the trailer was submerged.
During cleanup process when I used the trailer to hand push through the driveway I heard grinding noises from the hubs.

I know these are of weak quality and when I was building the trailer I even broke one of the fittings and ended up ordering a new hub (I did not trust to clean all the junk out of it).

I'd like to get some aftermarket hubs and possibly upgrade to 13" rims.
I think with 13" I think I can get a car tire.
My biggest thing is get hubs which will be low maintenance: easy to grease up and will keep water and dirt away.

Thanks for your help!
