It's a 6.0...I've had 2 7.3's and wanted another but people have hyped those motors so much, prices are crazy. That being said, people don't realize that as great as those motors are, they have their share of problems too. The main issue is,the older they get, the oil pans that rot out and the only correct fix is to pull the motor and replace it. From the research i've done your looking at $2500+ any other work that should be done while the motor is out. So, I did my research an opted for this truck, it cost less than most of the VERY clean 7.3's out there. If i'm going to have to pull a motor for oil pan/studs, i'd rather do it and have a newer truck. That's the plan anyway.

No modding yet exept for the leveling kit, 35's, and tint. First is a coolant flush/filter, EGR delete, and an Insight to monitor my EOT/ECT. Also a lot of small things like 6.4 banjo bolts, and fuel pressure spring....

Just got it back from the inspection shop, I new it needed tires so I had them level it and put on 325/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

I did a rough country leveling kit and I was happy with it, I did a steering stabalizer at the same time and it worked out nice.
I did a FCDP (First Coast Diesel Performance) EGR delete. IMHO they are the best on the market.
When you do the coolant flush make sure you follow ford procedure and get the VC9. Its very important in the big picture.
I did the fuel pressure spring when I did my head studs and head gaskets, thats going to be on your list shortly if you plan to tune it
Nice truck, break out the check book my friend and welcome to the 6.0 family!!
