OK, I give. How do you get your rig up there? Long ramps?

Looks like you could have made that bed a few feet longer.

not mine i just had to step in, a dude in my jeep group made it. yes long ramps, their under the jeep. he also can tow his other two rigs on a trailer. and if you see it in person the jeep actually fits on their perfectly. it just goes to show if you got the know how, and deep pockets anything can be done. when we were dying in 90+ degree heat and humidity. he was chilling in ac, warming up some food in his microwave. he has the few things on the list to make it an rv, with air brakes. good luck in your build. hopefully i gave you some inspiration.

Just a thought.

Why not just get a CDL? If you are worried about your cow being a horse, or whatever. Got mine in Ohio, just take a written test and a driving test. You can study the manual a little and you already have the vehicle. Just be sure to make sure it can pass an inspection.

And now I found a box and installed it.
Just your usual U-haul box

Out with old and dead

in with the good

praying for no wind ray:

and finally bolted down

Gee I did this too. I towed a 27' travel trailer. The Jeep didn't weight enough to get down on the overloads though. I got a lot of looks when I pulled into the campsite.

I have built the bed frame, bolted in the fridge and microwave. even bolted in the cabinets.
no pic of thecabinets yet.
here are a couple more pics.

and after a litte paint

I found a set of higher ratio gears so it won't be as much of a fuel hog on the interstate when I'm headed out west and back.
Today I fineally got my "RV" (truck)titled and plated as a motor home. It was quite simple. just one page form for each. (for Ohio it is BMV form #3804 for the title, and BMV form #5712 for the plates) just search the net and print one off. then fill out and get noterized and then everything else was as ususual.

next weekend it gets its new gears installed

Oh yea I will but it will be but to a guys standards. No frills on this rig.

Yesterday I went to a lion's club fundraiser cruise-in with the big truck. A guy I've known for 25 years walked over and looked at my truck and offered me a used RV door for $10.
I went and looked at it today and I told him If he let me take the screen door with it I'd give $20. (new doors are $512)
AND I'm getting 2 more windows for anthoer $20
only small downside is that I have to remove this stuff my self.
These parts are on a later model Airstream and are of high quality.
I am overjoyed to find this stuff.

It turned out stopping by and giving some funds to the lions club was VERY GOOD thing to do.
