yes, fuel may be a dollar more but in the same fashioned if you were to buy a 2500 gas truck with 120,000 on the clock you would be looking to get rid of her when it hit 180,000 to 200,000 to where a diesel can go 500,000 with out a rebuild if properly taken care of. they are more efficient and last longer and i would have no problem buying one with 200k miles

Why would you ned to get rid of a gas truck at 180,000. Even if the motor were tired, a long block installed is only $3500.00. Now you are on your way to 500,000 miles.
