Best Blue OX Baseplate and Towbar for use with a 2012 JKU with Rampage front bumper?

As the title suggests... I am getting ready to flat tow my 2012 JKU behind my RV for the first time.

I was looking to get the Blue OX system, but they have so many options I am finding it a little hard to make a decision so was hoping someone here had experience with a similar set up?

I have a 4" lift and 35" tyres on my JKU and a Rampage front bumper with Warn winch. Is there a baseplate that will fit with this and not look bad when disconnected? What about affecting clearance?

I was thinking this Towbar http://blueox.com/tow-bars/bx7445-aventa-lx/ but I was also advised it is better to have one with a ball hitch (why?)

These are my baseplate options http://blueox.com/recreational-comme...model=wrangler

I have already ordered the Cooltech JK Tow Harness Deluxe kit. Do I also need a system to control the brakes in the Jeep? I have a prodigy brake controller in the RV for when I pull my trailer, can I make that work with something in the Jeep?

I believe I put the jeep into Park, the transfer case in neutral, but what about the ignition?

There's a lot of good info in the Dinghy Towing forum here:
http://www.rv.net/forum/
They may not be able to help much with base plate selection because of your aftermarket bumper and lift, but you should be able to get any other info you need on the topic.

I dont know why a ball type towbar was suggested but I have used the towbar you linked for towing my wife's WJ for the last 6 years. Very easy to use, I just hook it to the receiver on my truck after the camper is on and then on to the Jeep and then drive the truck slowly forward until the latches lock. Dont need to worry about trying to connect to the ball.

Dont know about JK base plates but you should probably cal BlueOx.
