Base plates for flat towing

Hey all, bought a 2008 wrangler X with after market steel bumpers, now I have to get base plates for it, so I can tow it behind motor home. Looked at another factory jeep bumper and didn't look like the mounting was any different and the bottom of both were about the same Distance on the frame rails. Has anyone set up there wrangler to tow behind motor home with the big steel bumper and what base plates did you have to go with ?? Thanks

You might want to join and post on the Dinghy towing area on www.rv.net/forum. There are lots of folk who have been there and done that. We also need more information including some pictures. Lots of brands of bumpers and tow systems.

This for the roadmaster base plates, they would mount on the frame rails, not an issue except them clearing the steel bumper vs. the stock bumper?? Have been towing wranglers for years no problems, just trying to see if someone on this forum may have encounter this and what they used??

Welcome to the Club
We do have a towing section where you might find more info. > http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f104/
In the mean time I added a bit to your title to make your question a little more clear.
