There is 2+" of tire to fender clearance right now. The trailer hardly moves, even loaded with camping gear and me standing in the tub. It will be fine for now; tires won't touch fender. After sandblasting we will be adding a 1-2" rail under the current frame rail, and replacing the leaf brackets.

The tongue and center truss/bracing are original; side tongue rails were added at some point.

Minor add to the tongue. I have this receiver-mount Pet-Step from a previous vehicle. Have been trying to figure out what to do with it for years. Makes a nice aluminum step or platform area. So, I added it to the extra receiver that had been welded to the tongue. Worked out nicely. Will probably store the wheel chocks there, with a pin.

Not much progress on the trailer lately; too busy using it to end the Summer.
Picked up 3 simple cheap wagon wheel style rims off Craigslist; Bedlined them. Should be on tomorrow.

Will start the teardown process for sandblasting soon.

That is a good looking trailer. You have there. I come across a Bradleys trailer last week and thinks of doing something along the same line as you.

Mine is all original with 600x16 tires and no fenders. The tires are probably
3-4in from the side of the tub. Was wondering what wheels you have your
35's mounted on.

Thanks for the compliment.

The 35x12.5 BFGs are currently mounted on old Chevy rims. 3.5" backspacing. I'm not sure of the width, but guess about 8"-9".

The new rims are same dimensions.

Great trailers.

Trailer took a little bit of a backseat to some Jeep stuff lately. But, got the bedlined wheels on. Much better than the old, faded Chevy rims.

Went a little old school and added a PVC tarp bow. Well spent $7. Works nicely. Have decided not to go with a hard cover.
