'11 GC & a camper

Looking to get back into the camping scene and don't want to mess with tents anymore. We found a good deal on a slightly used 2010 ultralight style camper, but Im thinking it may be a little much for our V6 WK2.

Gross weight of the camper is 4500 and from what I understand, max towing on it is 5000 for the 4WD and our is 2WD. With an equalizer hitch and trailer brakes, will we be able to pull it? I can easily pull it with my truck, but wanted the option of using either one.

Read your owners manual for the jeep to find its tow rating and follow that. Just because the trailer has brakes and/or you have a equalizer hitch means little when it comes to towing.
